Auto-immune Diseases

Autoimmune Disease is a complex health problem wherein the immune system loses

the ability to differentiate between itself and foreign invaders."

-Jennifer Fugo, Founder of Gluten Free School

What are Autoimmune Diseases ?

Labeled by medical professionals as 'invisible epidemic', the global rise of autoimmune diseases, such as diabetes, asthma or arthritis, is alarming. AD causes the natural immune system, originally designed to protect us from germs, bacteria or viruses, to fight one specific organ, or even the whole body, by mistake. Not being able to differentiate between foreign and own cells anymore, AD confuses parts of the body, such as one specific organ, joints or skin, and identifies it as alien. The body then releases auto-antibodies to attack its own cells, destroying itself over time as a result.

What are the most common Autoimmune Diseases ?

  • Grave's Disease

  • Type 1 Diabetes

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis

  • Asthma

  • Psoriasis

  • Multiple Sclerosis

  • Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (Lupus)

  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease

  • Addison's Disease

  • Sjogren's Disease

  • Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

  • Myasthenia Gravis

  • Vasculitis

What are the symptoms of Auto-Immune Diseases ?

  • Fatigue

  • Aching Muscles

  • Trouble Focusing

  • Numbness / Tingling in the limbs

  • Hair Loss

Certain forms of autoimmune diseases come with their own set of unique symptoms.

For example, type 1 diabetes causes extreme thirst, weight loss, frequent urination and fatigue. Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), on the other hand, causes belly pain, bloating, and diarrhea.

Treating Auto-Immunity

The Conventional Way

Modern medicine has not been fully successful in curing autoimmune diseases, be as it is more focused on controlling the over-activity of the immune response for symptomatic relief, instead of eliminating the root cause of the disease.

Common conventional medications are, for example:

  • Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen

  • Immune suppressing drugs

In addition, medical professionals might prescribe drugs purely for symptom relief, such as pain, swelling, fatigue, and skin rashes.

The Functional Way

We offer dedicated services and treatments to reduce and heal symptoms, root causes, and effects of Autoimmune Diseases that are individualised for each client's needs and situation. Our treatments focus on low as well as high- grade infections.

Auto-Immune Programs (AIP)

The Autoimmune Protocol reduces the inflammation symptoms, and, in the long run, reverses the client's autoimmune disease through a personalised diet and a dedicated change in lifestyle habits, leading to a healthy gut mucosa, a stronger immunity system, and overall well-being.

Detox Therapy

When in full health, our bodies naturally get rid of toxins through organs such as kidneys, intestines, lungs, the lymphatic system, and skin. However, if the body is out of balance, impurities are not fully filtered out of the blood stream, and therefore affect the overall well-being. Detoxification removes these impurities and toxins from the blood, and therefore reverses the causes of Autoimmune Diseases.

Detox therapies available include :

  • Infra Red

  • Coffee Enema

  • IV Detox

  • Lymph Detox

  • Colon Hydrotherapy

  • Chelation Detox

  • Juice / Nutritional Detox

  • Ozone Therapy

Nutraceuticals & Treatments

Our medical and scientific team have exclusively launched new range of products and unique supplements to help, manage, and treat autoimmune diseases. Our products include, among others, capsules to stimulate brain health as well as liver and kidney functions.

De-Stress Therapy

Staying calm, relaxed and content are the most important factors to manage symptoms, and reduce the overall impact of autoimmune diseases. We have designed a unique set of de-stress therapies that restore the harmony of the body's internal chemical balance.
